This nine year old patient highlights the results that can be achieved through early intervention. She came to us with a narrow, tapered upper arch form and generalized spacing of the front teeth. An expander was used to widen the upper arch and braces were used to close the spaces and complete the correction. Note the dramatic change in the smile as a result of orthodontic treatment. Some early intervention cases require a second phase of treatment after the eruption of all permanent teeth.
