Child Treatment #3

This eight year old boy had a significant crossbite of his front teeth, in which the upper teeth were sitting in back of the lower front teeth. Treatment was completed with a combination of appliances meant to increase the growth of the upper jaw and create an improved bite relationship of the front teeth. Partial braces were also used to align the front teeth. Note the dramatic change in the patient’s smile as a result of the orthodontic treatment.
