Dear Patients and Families of Waldman Orthodontics,
In light of guidelines released on March 15th by the California Dental Association, we will NOT be allowed to see patients for any routine visit for the next few weeks, including consultations. In light of this, we will only be allowed to provide emergency care, i.e. alleviation of pain and discomfort. If you have a question as to what constitutes an emergency, please call the office.
Please go to our website if you are a new patient and would like to do a virtual consultation, or if you are an existing patient and would like to send us some images of your teeth for evaluation.
We will be re-evaluating our policies on a daily basis and we look forward to giving you additional information as soon as we have it.
We are here to support you in any way we can and we will need to use all of the tools available to us to communicate virtually and remotely.
Waldman orthodontics has been a national leader in implementation of remote treatment options over the last few years. Here are a few ways that we can keep in touch and provide remote care:
Dental monitoring – For the last two years, many of our Invisalign and braces patients are using the Dental Monitoring APP which allows us to observe and guide their treatment remotely. Patients who are using this technology should continue to “scan” their teeth at home to allow us to interact virtually.
Virtual Consultations – We have been offering virtual consultations as an option for the last 12 months. If you would like to take advantage of this, please go to our website’s homepage and fill out the web form which pops up.
Text – Our phone number “textable” - please feel free to reach out using this feature. You can also send photos, so this can be an easy way for us to guide you remotely.
With best wishes for health, safety, and stability in this turbulent time,
Dr. Alexander Waldman, Dr. Oscar Reyna-Blanco, and the Waldman Orthodontics staff.
