Dr Alexander Waldman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a triple Ivy League trained orthodontist. He received his undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society,Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He also received the National Board Achievement Award.
Dr. Waldman completed his fellowship in orthodontics at Harvard University and received the esteemed Joseph L. Henry Award for Excellence in Clinical and Research Training, awarded to the top graduate student amongst all dental specialties. At Harvard, Dr. Waldman also received a Master of Medical Sciences degree and studied the effect of collagen mutations on temporomandibular joint degeneration, establishing an innovative research model that has led to many other studies and sparked the development of Dr. Waldman’s expertise in clinical management of jaw disorders and complex bite issues. Dr. Waldman was also recognized for his abilities to care for a wide range of children and adults with awards from the Society of Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities and the American Society of Geriatric Dentistry.
Dr. Waldman has achieved the highest Diplomate status in the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association (ADA) and sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO). He was honored by having one of his cases selected from amongst hundreds of board cases as an ideal orthodontic result to be displayed at the annual meeting of the American Association of Orthodontists AAO.
Dr. Waldman’s private practice in Beverly Hills is recognized as one of the leading orthodontic practices in the United States. Dr. Waldman treats a wide range of children and adults and is an expert in all types of braces,andincluding Invisalign.
Dr. Waldman blends the latest research and technology with traditional, evidence-based orthodontic techniques, to provide patients with cutting-edge, orthodontic treatment. He has fully embraced digital technology to bring his patients more comfortable and accurate treatment options. Using an interdisciplinary approach, Dr. Waldman also offers a full range of advanced treatment options including innovative non-surgical techniques utilizing skeletal anchorage (TADS), surgical orthodontics, TMJ management, and accelerated treatment.
Dr. Waldman is the founder of the Multi-Disciplinary Group of Beverly Hills, a leading provider of continuing education for dentists in the greater Los Angeles area. Dr. Waldman has published multiple clinical papers on original orthodontic techniques that he has developed and has been a featured speaker at many continuing education events, including the USC International Restorative Symposium, the USC Dental School Annual Part-Time Faculty Meeting, and multiple dental societies.
Dr. Waldman is committed to his local community and supports a wide range of schools, charities, athletic and arts programs. The community has recognized Dr Waldman as being the #1 rated orthodontist on Yelp in Beverly Hills for five years in a row (2011-2016).
A native of New York City, Dr. Waldman lives in Los Angeles with his wife Talya and three daughters. In his free time, Dr. Waldman enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, photography, listening to music, and hiking.
Dr Oscar Reyna-Blanco is a Harvard trained orthodontist who believes that as a specialist he has the opportunity to positively impact his patients’ lives. He finds true joy in in being part of his patients’ journey to a more confident and happy version of themselves through achieving a beautiful smile.
Dr Reyna-Blanco attended the University of Washington on a full academic scholarship where he was part of the honors program. There, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a certificate in management. He then continued to the University of California, San Francisco where he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Reyna-Blanco received the prestigious UCSF’s Dean scholarship, given to only two members of each entering class. Following dental school graduation, he attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he completed his Master of Medical Science and a certificate in orthodontics.
Dr Reyna-Blanco is thrilled to be back on the West Coas and grateful to be serving the Los Angeles community. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring all along the beautiful coast of California. He likes to stay active with group work out classes, going to the gym and running. In addition, he enjoys exploring LA’s unique cultural and dining scene.
