Meet Dr. Julia Tobin
Dr. Julia Tobin is committed to delivering thoughtful, personalized orthodontic care with a focus on precision, clinical excellence, and patient experience. Originally from Toronto, Canada, she moved to Los Angeles during middle school and is proud to now serve the community she has long considered home.
Dr. Tobin earned her undergraduate degree in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from Yale University before receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA, where she was recognized with multiple academic and leadership honors, including the UCLA Department of Orthodontics Award and the UCLA Department of Oral Pathology Award.
She completed her orthodontic residency and Master of Science degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, one of the nation’s leading orthodontic programs, where she received several distinguished fellowships for academic and clinical achievement.
Dr. Tobin values the combination of detail-oriented treatment planning, problem-solving, and relationship-building that orthodontics provides. She is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and supported throughout every stage of treatment.
